01. Scope and contact

This policy applies to the BeatuyCam Lite photo and video creation app and its website. The developer of BeatuyCam Lite ("we" or "us") provides support and handles privacy enquiries at zpf772593693@gmail.com.

This policy describes the current version's data practices. When you choose Apple system services, third-party sharing apps or email services, please also read their privacy information.

02. Information we process

The main creative features of BeatuyCam Lite run on your device. The app requires no account, integrates no advertising or third-party behavioral analytics, and does not upload your captured or imported photos, videos, audio, face data or location to developer servers.

03. Face data and beauty processing

When you use beauty tools or select a person in the frame, the app uses Apple Vision on your device to detect face regions and landmarks such as eyes, eyebrows, lips, nose and contours. This geometry is used only to apply beauty effects to the correct areas and keep effects stable across frames.

• Purpose: Smoothing, skin tone, local color, facial feature and makeup adjustments. It is not used for authentication, identifying people, advertising profiles or model training.
• Sharing: Face landmarks and beauty analysis results are not sent to the developer, advertisers, external AI services or other third parties.
• Temporary storage: Detected landmarks and effect masks are held temporarily in runtime memory and released as processing state changes, caches are evicted or the app process ends. They are not written to a separate database of facial features.
• Saved projects: To restore adjustments for a particular person when a project is reopened, a project may locally record that person's normalized position in the frame and beauty parameters. These remain with the project and are removed when it is deleted. These position parameters are not facial templates for identifying people.
• The images themselves: Saved source media, previews and exports may contain images of faces. They are stored, shared and deleted in the same way as other photos and videos.

You can reset beauty parameters to zero or choose not to use these features. Saved projects and their settings must be removed separately by deleting the projects.

04. Permissions and your choices

iOS and iPadOS manage permissions. We request access when the relevant feature needs it. Denying a permission affects only features that rely on it.

• Camera: To capture photos, Live Photos and videos.
• Microphone: To capture sound with videos and other recordings.
• Photo library access: To browse and edit authorized media. Where the system allows it, you can grant access to selected photos only or choose media with the system photo picker.
• Add to photo library: To save exports to the system photo library.
• Location while in use: Used only after you enable Save Photo Location in the app, to record where media was captured. The app does not continuously track your location in the background.
• Speech recognition: Requested when generating captions, to recognize audio in selected videos.

Find BeatuyCam Lite in system Settings, or open Privacy & Security, to review or revoke permissions. You can also turn off location recording in app settings. Revoking access does not automatically remove saved projects or locations already written to media. Use the relevant app or system photo library features to delete or modify those items.

05. Captions, networks and system services

Captions use Apple's on-device speech recognition. The older recognition path requires offline recognition support and explicitly requests on-device processing. Systems supporting the newer speech service also use on-device models. The app does not fall back to server recognition or upload selected video audio to developer servers.

The first time you use certain caption languages, Apple system services may need a network connection to download and install speech models. Downloading a model does not upload your audio; audio is still processed on your device. The app lets you know if the device or language is unsupported.

Accessing iCloud photos not yet downloaded to your device, using system sharing, enabling iCloud Photos sync or backing up your device may also involve networks and Apple or other services you choose. Their providers' policies govern their data processing, such as the Apple Privacy Policy; we do not control these services.

06. Retention and deletion

Preferences, filter intensities, and photo and video editing records are stored locally in the app. When saving separate projects, the app may retain copies of source media, previews, imported music and captions so you can continue editing later.

• Local projects and their parameters normally remain until you delete the project or use the system to delete the app and its data. Deleting a project removes its associated local media and editing records.
• Photos and videos saved by the app to the system photo library are separate items and must be deleted there separately. The system manages Recently Deleted and iCloud sync.
• Choosing Offload App in iOS or iPadOS may retain documents and data. Use Delete App to remove local data. Restoring a system backup may restore included data, depending on your backup settings.
• Intermediate render files and temporary audio extracted for recognition are used for the current task and cleaned up on normal completion or cancellation. The system may also manage some temporary caches.
• Support emails are retained for as long as needed to handle correspondence and meet necessary obligations. You can request deletion through our contact email, except for information that must be retained by law.

BeatuyCam Lite does not provide developer accounts or a developer-hosted cloud project library. Deleting the app does not delete content shared with third parties, items in the system photo library or existing system backups.

07. Sharing, third parties and email

We do not sell your personal information, use advertising identifiers to track you, or collect your creative content through third-party advertising or analytics SDKs.

Only when you choose to share does the app pass selected work to your chosen app or service through the system share sheet. The recipient provider determines subsequent processing. Photos or videos with location metadata may reveal where they were taken; review or remove this information before sharing as needed.

When you email support, we read the message to handle your request. Our mailbox uses Gmail. The email providers used by you and us handle transmission and storage, which may involve infrastructure in different regions. Please provide only what is needed to investigate the issue. You do not need to send private photos, videos or sensitive information.

If the law requires disclosure of support information we have received, we will handle it only to the extent necessary under applicable law.

08. Website privacy

This website has no user accounts and does not use advertising, visitor analytics scripts, tracking cookies or browser local storage to profile visitors. Images, font fallbacks, styles and scripts do not rely on third-party analytics or font services.

Once the website is publicly deployed, its hosting or network provider may process technical logs such as IP addresses, request times, browser information and requested paths to deliver the site, maintain operations and provide security. Actual retention depends on the service chosen at deployment. This website has no front-end form that collects this information.

Copy email writes the public contact address to your clipboard only when you click it, and does not read clipboard content. Email links open your email app; you decide whether to send a message.

09. Information security

On-device processing, system permissions and the app sandbox help reduce unnecessary data transfers. Your device unlock settings, system version, backups and sharing choices also affect the security of your content.

Keep your device secure, install system updates promptly and back up work you want to keep before deleting the app. No storage or transmission method can guarantee absolute security. Please contact us if you discover a privacy issue related to BeatuyCam Lite.

10. Your privacy rights

You can control access through device permissions and view, change or delete local content through the app and system photo library. For support information we receive, you may also request access, correction, deletion, withdrawal of consent or other rights available under applicable law.

Email zpf772593693@gmail.com with your request. After verifying the necessary information, we will handle it under applicable law. We cannot remotely read or delete work stored only on your device, but can provide instructions. Records that must legally be retained may not be deleted immediately.

11. Protection of minors

Minors should read this policy and use the app under the guidance of a parent or guardian. Children under 14 should first obtain their guardian's consent before providing personal information, emailing support or sharing content containing personal information.

Our service is not intended to collect children's personal information. If a guardian believes a child has sent information we should not retain, please contact the email address above. We will verify and handle deletion requests under applicable law.

12. Policy updates

We may update this policy when features or actual data practices change, and will show a new update date on this page. For significant changes to processing purposes, information types or sharing, we will provide appropriate explanations and obtain consent where required by applicable law.
